India has launched their investigation into the rapid increase in chemical imports from South Korea. The move comes from Indian companies, which have raised complaints that the cheaper imports of key chemicals, such as DOPT and DEHCH, are hurting Indian producers. These chemicals are widely used in the production of flooring, cables, and medical products. Under the India-Korea free trade agreement, the Korean products enjoy lower import duties, making them cheaper in the Indian market. Therefore;
