2018 4th International Conference on Chemical Materials and Process (ICCMP 2018) will be held during May 23-25 in Chulalongkorn University, Bangkok, Thailand.
The product of chemical engineering ranges from basic chemical product to food and pharmaceutical having high economic value with greater sustainability. The advanced chemical process include some more interdisciplinary fields like nanotechnology, bioengineering, bimolecular engineering, material processing or meteorology and industrial design also.
Materials science addresses materials, how they function, how that function can change by combining and/or modifying the materials for example at their surfaces, and how to design new materials with desirable properties, and why certain materials fail under certain circumstances. Chemical Materials Science is a cross-disciplinary field that relates the behavior and properties of various materials with aspects of their molecular, supramolecular, or macromolecular structures and their chemical and physical characteristics at the atomic or molecular level. This area encompasses both science and engineering, and several disciplines within each of these realms - chemistry, physics and polymer science on the science side; chemical and biochemical engineering, and mechanical and electrical engineering on the engineering side.
India Chem 2026 - 14th Biennial International Exhibition & Conference
Department of Chemicals & Petrochemicals, Ministry of Chemicals & Fertilizers, Government of India in association with Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry will host the 14th edition of India Chem 2026 from 22–24 October 2026 at NESCO, Mumbai bringing together global leaders, investors, policymakers, and industry stakeholders on a single dynamic platform. As one of the largest composite events in the Asia-Pacific region, this flagship initiative will feature an International Exhibition and Conference including the Global CEOs Round Table and specialized conclaves on Chemicals, Petrochemicals, Agrochemicals, and Process & Machinery. Showcasing India’s rapidly expanding chemical industry—projected to reach $400–450 billion by 2030 and up to $1 trillion by 2040—the event highlights the country’s strong policy support, world-class infrastructure, skilled workforce, and growing investment potential. India Chem 2026 will serve as a catalyst for strategic partnerships, trade expansion, and sustainable growth, reinforcing India’s position as a preferred global manufacturing and investment destination.
Transforming the Industry, Shaping the Future

India’s specialty chemicals sector has become one of the fastest-growing parts of the overall chemical industry. With rising global demand, supply chain diversification, and a move away from traditional manufacturing hubs, India has established itself as a dependable and competitive option. Government policies are also helping the sector grow. Initiatives like Make in India, production-linked incentive schemes have encouraged both Indian and foreign players to manufacture in India. Recent FTA’s negotiations have given significant impetus to India exports to specialty chemicals especially to North America, Europe and Asia-Pacific.
Government support and policy actions were widely seen as crucial for industry growth. The role of production-linked incentive (PLI) schemes, reforms to make business easier, and investments in industrial infrastructure were recognized as key factors. Meanwhile, industry leaders called for clearer regulations, quicker approvals, and stronger cooperation between all stakeholders to keep the momentum going.
The India Specialty Chemicals Conclave 2026 is an important event in the ongoing growth of the country’s chemical industry. The Conclave will stress the need for innovation, export led growth, use of new age chemicals in sunrise sectors, safety standards for process improvement with energy-efficient & sustainable practices.
The 4th Rosefield Conference on Circular Economy in Used Oil (2025) marked a turning point for India’s used oil ecosystem. Held in New Delhi, the conference brought together lubricant producers,
re-refiners, OEMs, regulators, and sustainability leaders as EPR shifted from policy intent to regulatory reality.
With EPR targets now in force, discussions focused on operationalising circularity at scale—addressing gaps in collection, traceability, RRBO quality, technology, and informal diversion. A clear
consensus emerged: compliance alone is not enough. True circularity requires coordinated action across reverse logistics, re-refining infrastructure, market acceptance of RRBO, and digitally enabled
EPR systems.
With participation from 100+ companies and strong regulatory presence, Rosefield CE2025 moved the dialogue decisively from why circularity matters to how it can be delivered.
Chemical Market has been in the industry since almost 44 years. We owe our success to you and since the last few years things have been crazy for the world at large. The editorial independence has never been more important.
Our articles and press releases come from reliable sources and we keep delivering high impact trustworthy news, reviews and technical articles and reports free from commercial or political influence.
We believe everyone deserves equal access to accurate news and there are many news aggregator sites but we don't participate in those as they have a very broad criteria where not all news articles sites can participate and not all of them are true articles written for the purpose of knowledge but mostly are commercialized. We bring you news and information in the chemical industry and provide vital information to make decisions based on fact and not fiction.
