At chemicalmarket.net, we are proud to announce some exciting new features that are set to change the way the chemical industry connects, communicates, and collaborates. These updates are designed with one simple goal in mind - to make it easier and faster for buyers and suppliers to find each other and do business efficiently. Here's a breakdown of the new tools now available on the platform, explained in everyday language.

Introducing the "Open Buy Enquiry"

Imagine you’re looking to buy a specific chemical, but you don’t know who sells it or who might have it in stock. With our new Open Buy Enquiry feature, you can simply post your requirement on the website - think of it like putting up a "Wanted" sign. Once posted, this enquiry is visible to all suppliers on the platform. It’s public and open, which means any registered supplier who sees the enquiry and can fulfill the demand can respond to it directly.

This not only saves time but also increases your chances of finding the right supplier quickly. Whether you need a chemical in bulk or a rare compound, this tool opens up your request to the entire chemicalmarket community.

The “Enquiry Cart” - Adding Products from Members

We’ve also introduced a convenient Enquiry Cart - much like the shopping cart you see on e-commerce sites. Let’s say you're browsing the platform and come across a supplier’s product listing that matches your requirement. You can now add that product to your Enquiry Cart and submit it as a direct enquiry to that specific supplier.

This method is more private than the Open Buy Enquiry. Only the selected supplier will be notified, making it ideal for targeted requests or when you’ve found a trusted source you’d like to deal with directly.

Suppliers Can Now Reply to Enquiries - Fast and Easy

Whether it's an Open Buy Enquiry or a direct enquiry from the Enquiry Cart, suppliers can now reply quickly and directly through the platform. This response system is built right into chemicalmarket.net, so all communication stays organized and professional - no need to switch between emails, phone calls, or WhatsApp messages. It’s all in one place, streamlined for efficiency.

Real-Time Notifications with SignalR

We’ve also adopted SignalR, a modern real- time messaging technology. What does this mean for you? As soon as a new Open Buy Enquiry is posted, all relevant suppliers  receive an instant notification - just like getting a WhatsApp alert or app notification. And when an enquiry is submitted through the Enquiry Cart, the specific supplier receives a direct alert. This ensures that no opportunity is missed, and responses are as fast as possible.

These new features are all about building stronger connections, reducing delays, and keeping business moving - even in unpredictable times.

Global Trade and the Chemical Industry Outlook

As we enhance our platform, we’re also keeping a close eye on the broader global landscape. The chemical industry, like many others, is being shaped by international politics and evolving alliances. Recently, countries like China, India, and Russia have started collaborating more closely, working on mechanisms to keep supply chains running smoothly despite geopolitical tensions. From alternative trade routes to local currency-based trading, these nations are trying to reduce their dependency on traditional Western channels, especially in critical industries like chemicals.

Meanwhile, with US election season heating  up, the return of protectionist trade policies and tariffs - especially under possible renewed Trump administration policies - could create fresh turbulence in global trade. For the chemical sector, this might mean disruptions in raw material supply, fluctuating prices, and a shift in trading partners.

Looking ahead to the next two quarters, we anticipate a mixed outlook. On one hand, regional alliances and local manufacturing will gain strength. On the other, buyers and suppliers may need to stay agile, prepare for pricing volatility, and maintain diverse sourcing channels. We have recently tied up with 2025 Global Chemical Supply Chain (China) Summit. GCSCS2025 will bring together about 600 executive participants from the Government & Associations, Academies, Leading Chemical Manufacturers, LSPs, Distributors, Consulting Agencies, Software, Equipment, Packaging and other solution providers. Visit our events page for more details.

At chemicalmarket.net, we are committed to helping our users navigate this evolving landscape with smarter tools and real-time connections. Whether you're a buyer searching for reliable suppliers or a manufacturer ready to grow your global footprint, our platform is here to support you every step of the way.

Let’s create stronger bonds - together.
